I have had my commercial drivers license banned for life and

Resolved Question:

I have had my commercial drivers license banned for life and I am not able to appeal due to a law that was passed in 2005. Is this legal, and is there a way to appeal this. My license was issued in Calif. but the ban is nationwide, I haven't worked gainfully since March of 2007, I am not able to find work anywhere in the country because of this.
