In Louisianna its called a surrender of parental rights. You should be able to obtain it from the parish where the custody/support order originated from. To draw up a surrender and file it, maybe $500, to do something with the arrearages go form there, maybe another $1,000 but if he helps you get this off your back it would be worth it..
