Hi i suffered a facial injury in a motorcycle crash I got a small steel plate in my cheek my eye on my left side looks sunk in and I have double vision at times the doctor told me that it's fat displacement and there's nothing he can do n that my vision may never come back ?

Thank you for your question, i would go for CT scan of the head and neck to see if there is anything pressing on the optic nerve that is causing these symptoms. In most cases if we find a cause like a mass or steel plate pressing on the eye ball or nerve, it can be adjusted and symptoms of double vision will go away which will preserve your vision.
