I have intermittent pain in forehead immediately above my right eye that usually happens with eye movement to the right.
JA: Did you have a recent injury to the eye? How is your vision?
Customer: No injury to the eye. I did see my opthomologist a couple of weeks ago and mentioned it to the assistant. When doctor came in he checked my eyes and told me I have beginning of AMD. He never mentioned the pain I told assistant about. I was so shocked about the AMD I forgot to ask.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: No. I am pretty healthy. I am 79 yrs. old

Hello.

This might not be an eye problem, but can be.

You need to call your eye doctor first.

One problem can be strain.

Another can be giant cell arteritis, inflammation of the temporal artery.

This needs further investigation, as arteritis is serious and can cause blindness.

Muscle strain is not so serious.
