I am a retina surgeon.
It is not glaucoma
It is not an infection of the "internal eye"
It might be a retinal detachment.
Tell me more:
1. Is this in the same eye you had the previous detachment?
2. Did you have a scleral buckle placed? Vitrectomy/gas-fluid exchange with endo laser etc?
3. Where was this shadow? TOp? Side? etc? Any hint of it still there?
4. Any flashes of light?
Do you have any other medical problems or take any medications?
This is not an answer, but an Information Request. I need this information to answer your question. Please reply, so I can answer your question. I look forward to helping you.
