Customer Question

My normal temperature has always been 98.6 degrees F. The last year my temperature has fluctuated between 96.7 to 97.8 degrees. My head feels full (especially around temple and eye area) and I feel like I'm in a fog ( very slightly woozy when walking).... and just a tinge of a headache every hour or so. Cat Scan, EKG and Blood Work all came back normal. I'm 86 years old. Help!

HiI would suggest that you have thyroid studies.Hypothyrodism is often over looked.Even when tested, the TSH can be over 2.5 [hypothyroid] and most doctors think up to 4.5 is OK. Not so.Find out what your TSH is.Headache is a symptom of hypothyrodism. So is a lowering of body temperature. OK, so you might have more questions or want to give me more information: Please use reply to expert if you have further questions.
