Customer Question

Wife had cataract surgery 10-13-15. Used toric lens. Suffered severe photophobia, inflamation, discomfort
and dryness untill 2-9-16. when MD dx dry eye syndrome. Tx: doxycycline, refresh, retain and pred forte drops.Visit on 2-17-15 MD changed pred forte to durazol and combigan. FINALLY after 6 follow up visits conditioned improved on 3-3-16, but vision in the right eye (cataract removed) now 20/200, can't be corrected with glasses. Vision before surgery was good enough for driving test. Visio in left eye 20/25. Saw another specialist on 4-1-16 and inform by him that cornea in right eye distorted. He requested medical records from operating MD. Have appt to see new specialist on 4-14-16. Patient had lasik in 04, and cross linking with with intacs to treat keratoconis; results with intacs very good. New MD wants to use scleral lens. MD who did RLE wants to wait 1 and1/2 years and do PRK. I think wife may have suffered surgically induced corneal distortion and astigmatism. Please give me an opinion.
