Hello,

Thank you for the question.

It is likely that you have perennial allergic conjunctivitis which is unlikely to be relieved with Opcon eye drops. Pataday eye drops ( Olopatadine) is a better option . This is a prescription eye drop and is to be used in the dose of 1 drop twice a day for 4-6 weeks.

Opcon eye drops contains Naphazoline which is known to reduce the redness temporarily but can cause rebound redness again. Hence it is better to discontinue with it's use.

You can use lubricating eye drops such as Refresh tears eye drops, 1 drop 4 times a day until you get to consult an eye doctor for the above.
