Customer Question

My 30 year old son had a fall and suffered a TBI in Oct 2014. The visiion in the right eye suffers. He has some double vision but it seems the right eye has shifted a bit. He has been applying ice 6 times a day for three months and has seen progress until yesterday. He is so dispondent not finding results still. Surgery has been mentioned but we cant get in to see a dr. until Oct. He fears he will have terrible scars from surgery. I am at a loss as to what to do next.

OK
So what is your question exactly?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Sorry to bother you guess we do not know enough about fixing the eye and not getting help. thank you for your time
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 1 year ago.
Do you know why he gets double vision.
In other words, is this secondary to the head trauma?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Yes it is secondary and is in his dominant right eye. Brain injury was on left side of brain.

OK
I would not start with surgery.
I would start with behavioral optometry.
