What eye behavior does an Opthalmologist observe?

This answer was rated:

What does the Opthalmologist look for when he or she examines the eyes?

Thank you for the question.I am Dr.A.S.Desai and I look forward to assisting you .

In a routine eye exam, the ophthalmologist would examine the front part of the eye on a slit lamp, the back of the eye by dilating the pupils, intraocular pressure, ocular movements, vision in each eye for distance and near. When something abnormal or unusual is noticed then further investigations or special tests are conducted.
