Doctor DanB : Hello and thanks for your question. This happens a lot more frequently than you might think. Chances are his eyes are going to be just fine. You might consider using some artificial tears two-three times per day in that eye over the next few days. But if his eyes arent red, it is not painful, and he's not having any complaints then he's likely going to be just fine. Does that make sense?
Customer: Yes, thank you! XXXXX realized what we were doing, I rinsed his eyes with some artificial tears right away. So scary! Should I use the correct rx eye drops for the pinkeye or just wait?
Doctor DanB : I would go ahead and start using the correct eyedrops. If you're using the eyedrops and he does not seem to be getting better or you have further questions about how long to continue these drops, then I would just call the doctor that prescribed them. Do you have any other questions about this?
Customer: No, that is great. Thank you so much!
