Have you been diagnosed recently with blocked tear ducts?
Sometimes mildly massaging the area may help as long as there is not significant stenosis of the opening of the tear ducts
To help with this sometimes your eye doctor may perform a procedure called dilation and irrigation which is actually a probing procedure done under local anesthesia to aid in in openinng the tear ducts opening so tears can drain
sometimes in some cases surgery is done to reconstruct the passage way
Thanks for all the info..I was seen 8 months ago He fushed the eyes. I will be seeing my doc tomorrow he has said before that I might need plugs put in for drainage. I groom dogs, will this be a problem for me with hair flying about?
