Hello,
Is there a time limit to read from a tablet for a day?
I've been reading too much news on my iPad and I feel that my eyes are sensing fatigue...
thank you

Dr. Rick :

Hi. I'm online and happy to answer your question today.

Dr. Rick :

No. There is no time limit. You can read as long as you like with no fear of damaging your eyes in anyway what-so-ever.

Customer:

hello

Customer:

ok then

Customer:

so the iPad does not damage eyes in any way

Dr. Rick :

Many times the feeling of fatigue that you are experiencing is due to a drying out of your cornea. This is due to the fact that you tend to blink less when reading, be it on a tablet or an excellent mystery novel. Just use natural tears to sooth your eyes and you will feel much better.

Dr. Rick :

That is correct -- even Apple products do not damage your eyes in any way (I'm a PC type of guy lol!)

Customer:

hehehe

Customer:

oh then this is why i am taking medicine that make dry eyes

Customer:

the doctor gave me tears

Customer:

to put in my eyes when i sleep

Dr. Rick :

Yes, the medicine can make things more difficult . The tears should help, there are many brand names and the cheapest ones work just fine

Dr. Rick :

The bedtime ones may be a bit too thick to use during the day. Try using bion tears, or tears naturale.

Customer:

he gave me Celluvisc as tears

Dr. Rick :

that is good but it may be a bit thick to use while reading.

Customer:

ok

Dr. Rick :

Is there anything else I can do for you today?

Customer:

no thank you

Dr. Rick :

my pleasure

Customer:

have a nice day
