I am seeing an overlay of yellow fractal images. This first happened at Thanksgiving and this is the second episode. I have left bundle branch block. Is this a lochunar stroke and what should I do about it.

Ma'am, thank you for your question.

If one of my patients described similar symptoms, I would tell them to go to ER immediately. Although strokes are usually describing with visual field defects (loss of vision in one area of the visual field) or other forms of visual loss, there are atypical presentations of stroke.

Another diagnosis I would consider in a patient with similar symptoms would be atypical migraine. However, I would first rule out a stroke with neuroimaging on an emergent basis.

I recommend you call 911 or have someone drive you to ER immediately. Do not drive yourself.
