Ask an Eye Doctor and Get an Answer ASAP
Am I in immediate distress or can I wait until after the weekend?
Do I need to go to an emergency room this weekend?
The overly simplistic answer of "recommend you see an eye doctor" is what a layman could/would say -- no special training needed. What I was seeking was whether I had a problem that required immediate attention particularly because it was after midnight on Friday night with the weekend coming up. I was essentially left in the same position as if I had not asked the question.
I am not sure what happened to your answer as I did not see what you said here. All I saw on the screen was one line which recommended seeing an eye doctor. Had I seen your entire answer, I would have been quite satisfied. Given the formatting problem or my ineptness, I was dissatisfied as I was looking for a timely answer to see if I needed to go to the Emergency Room - not a pleasant thought at 1 a.m.
I may have just responded without finishing my thought - I will try to repeat it for completeness.
I appreciate the completeness of your answer but the lack of timeliness (because of the site or my ability to use it (I am not a computer rookie)) was not satisfactory. The answer once received was very thorough. I have a dilemma as to how to rate the service. Advice - good; timeliness - problematic.
