My sister has suffered for years with a dry eye senario..She does not make any tears and has to put drops in her eyes every minute..Is there an operation that can be done to correct this situation Thanks

yes. Since she has already suffered for so long I would expect that she has already had her tear ducts closed (punctal occlusion). The next step would be a temporary lateral tarsorrhaphy. If this temporary procedure works it can easily be made permanent.
