Ask an Eye Doctor and Get an Answer ASAP
Hi. I'm online and happy to answer your question today.
There is no problem in delaying your cataract surgery at all. I wouldn't give it a second thought. Take care of family obligations and then have the surgery.
Delay will not affect your final visual outcome in the least.
Does this make sense to you?
And, now, the obligatory word from our sponsors: :o)

If your surgeon presses you to rush to have your cataract surgery you might want to look around for another surgeon.....unless, of course, he can come up with a very good (and very rare) reason for the rush......
I see that you were online for a brief moment but are once again offline. I'll switch over to the Q&A system. This system works a lot like 'text messaging' but an email is sent to each of us anytime something is posted to this thread. We can continue to work on your question there..... :)
