Hi. I'm online and happy to answer your question today.
The sun will not damage your eye in any way, shape or form just because you had lasik surgery.
You have nothing to worry about in this regard.
Does this make sense to you?

My system shows that you are now in the chat room. Is there anything else you would like to ask me?
I am gonna stay in London for a period, the weather there is cloudy. Should I wear sun glasses all the day?
That is a personal choice. There is no need for you to wear sunglasses to protect your eyes. The sun will not hurt them at all.

You are safe to travel/walk around London without sunglasses.
Is there anything else?
I am asking these questions because my doctor told me to wear sunglasses from sunrise to sunset for 1 year
I've can not think of any reason why you should have to wear sunglasses all day for a year because of Lasik surgery. In any event, you stated that it has been a year since your surgery so, at this point, I would just stop wearing sunglasses......unless, of course, you like to wear them. The sun will not -- I promise you -- damage your eyes or in any way affect the results of your lasik surgery.
Thank you doctor for your advice. I was afraid of the sun all the year.
Have a good time on the beach ;o)
