In fact there are lasers that are available to reduce the pressure. These are in-office procedures, called ALT or SLT.
The lasers may reduce the number of eye drops you use, but may not do away with all the eye drops.
This depends on how much the lasers reduces the eye pressure.
There are surgeries available as well, however, usually not preferred if you can use eye drops and/or lasers.
Ask you ophthalmologist about ALT or SLT to see if it is an option for you.
