Hi. I'm online and happy to answer your question today.
Warm compresses are the best treatment for a stye. If this is not working then the stye can be incised and drained in an ophthalmologists office.
This is a fairly simple procedure where, after numbing the area, a small incision is made and the "gunk" ( a fancy medical term :) is scooped out of the stye. This takes care of the problem in almost 100% of cases.
Does this make sense to you?
There really is nothing else for you to do at home to treat a stye. The ointments, diets, tea bags etc all really don't work.....
