Dr. PG :

Hi,

Dr. PG :

It appears that there is a mild inflammation of the eye that may be secondary to contact lens injury

Dr. PG :

or maybe begninning of an infection

Dr. PG :

You should STOP using contact lens for the next few days till the problem resolves

Dr. PG :

Ideally you should be seen by an ophthalmologist

Dr. PG :

In the meantime I would recommend that you start using

Dr. PG :

OTC lubricating eye drops like Systane/ Optive/ refresh tears 1 hourly initially and then less frequently as per your symptoms

Dr. PG :

You can also use VISINE / NAPHCON anti-inflammatory eye drops too available OTC. If the symptoms improve, it is good, otherwise you would need prescription antibiotic drops and an eye opinion,
