Dr. James :

Hello.

Dr. James :

How much vision do you have in that eye?

Dr. James :

What nerve was damaged?

Customer:

It has come back to 20/40 Im not sure what nerve was damaged, but it just effected my left eye!

Dr. James :

What impairment in your vision do you notice out of that eye?

Customer:

my eyes before this accident was 15/15 in both eyes!

Dr. James :

is it the "optic nerve" that was damaged?

Customer:

The ability to read is bad,and there apears to be black spots!

Dr. James :

Have your doctors offered any other treatment to improve your vision?

Customer:

I dont remember the Doctor telling me which nerve!

Dr. James :

Unfortunately, there is no nerve surgery available for the eyes.

Dr. James :

There are many reasons your vision can be affected from the type of injury you sustained.

Dr. James :

Once such injury is called "traumatic optic neuropathy".

Customer:

Back in 04 when this happened the doc. said that my nerve to my left eye was damaged and nobody works on nerves!

Dr. James :

likely damage to the optic nerve.

Dr. James :

in 2011, there is no treatment for a damaged optic nerve.

Customer:

That answers my question Thanks!

Dr. James :

You're welcome.

Dr. James :
