Not really and no changes in vision. Eyes feel a little itchy

No i dont. i wear glasses to see long distances like when am driving

You may just benefit from artificial tears alone.
Concerning signs are worsening pain, changes in vision.
All am experiencing at the moment is itching, not to major but slightly uncomfortable

That is more suggestive of allergies.
The steroid in the Bacicoline should help that.
I also tried maxidrol but not very effective
Maxitrol is a similar steroid/antibiotic combination.
do you think i should go back to the opthamologist and try the artificial tears or something
You should certainly try artificial tears.

Last week tuesday. am just really worried i picked up some eye disease in africa. I do usually have allergies but not like this

I live in australia and havent experienced it till i got to rwanda. I have no discharge just itching and reddness
You may go ahead and ask to be treated with an oral antibiotic just in case such as Azithromycin.

Possibly using a tetracycline eye ointment.
as am on doxycycline for prevention of malaria
