Ask an Eye Doctor and Get an Answer ASAP
Hello. Just had successful cataract surgery on my right eye - it is 20/20. I am scheduled for my left eye next week. I am 57 and employed. I live in front of a PC at work. I tried to work last week but had eye strain and back and neck pain. This weekend I bought a pair of drugstore readers (2.5) and they seem to work pretty well with my corrected right eye and I asssume it will work well with my left eye after the next surgery. I understand that there are specialty computer glasses but I'm not sure about strength. Sounds like they should also be multifocal with 2.5 for the bottom portion of the lense to work well. Do you have any recommendation a about computer glasses for my situation and are you able to recommend any reliable providers? I don't want to buy something on the web that might be harmful to my vision. Many thanks!
Good news! The inexpensive dime-store "cheaters" that are giving you such excellent vision? That's all you need....
There is no cause to spend bigbucks on special "computer glasses"
The glasses you bought will not hurt your eyes in any way and, for what you will spend on "special" glasses you can buy a bucket full of "cheaters", leave them all over the place and never have to hunt for a pair.....
Does this make sense to you?
