me. i recently asked my mom and she claims that i used to collapse

Customer Question

i have litterally gone from seeing to seeing nothing but the purest white all around me. i recently asked my mom and she claims that i used to collapse at the dinner table around 1-3 times a month ;never taken to a doctor;as she and my father thought i was just simply tired from the night before. i,myself remember collapsing around jr.high-on up to the last year of high school. it was allways after school-and the same spot. i remember my mom-her voice telling me to get up-as i was coming to-her standing over me-asking me what i was doing down there. at age 47,my mom tells me-after me asking her-i find out my grandfather'her' dad did the same thing. i was amazed to here this.ilose vision in both eyes.i have headaches-i suffer from severe migrains. am i going blind

Hello and thanks for your question.

Do you have these episodes of vision "white-outs" before or during having a migraine? If not, do you have any visual phenomena associated with your migraines?

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
i do not have migraines before any episodes happen, although ihave migraines every day-some last for several hours or even 3-5 days at at time. when i get an episode i get a very blured film like that goes right into the purest -whitest color all around me.

Does this happen in one eye only when it happens or does it happen to both eyes at the same time?

Do you notice any flashing or shimmering lights, nausea, light sensitivity or sensitivity to loud noises associated with these episodes?

Have you ever had any weakness, numbness, difficulty walking, talking or had any double vision with this?

Do you have any known eye problems such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, or cataracts?
