Hello, Welcome to Just Answer
Such an accidental spray into the eye amounts to a chemical injury to the eye.
You have done the right thing by giving a copious eye wash with water.
Lubricating eye drops are helpful
If you have other symptoms like redness or irritation in the eye , you can use over the counter Alaway or Zaditor ( ketotifen) eye drops , 1 drop twice a day, as it has some anti-inflammatory effect and will help to bring down associated inflammation .
You can continue with liberal use of lubricating eye drops till you get relief.
If your symptoms continue or irritation persists after 1 week of treatment, then you will need a detailed eye check up by an ophthalmologist and possible use of steroid eye drops ( if need be in case of severe inflammation)
Please feel free to ask any follow up questions.
