Ask an Eye Doctor and Get an Answer ASAP
Chemical burns with bases are more dangerous than those with acids. You should irrigate your eye for at least 10 minutes. You should throw away the contacts and the case (if you put the contacts back in there). You should to see an eye doctor and let them measure the pH in your tears. Burns can cause serious problems with the cornea and can lead to blindness if not treated.
Hope this helps and thank you.
