Why do i wake up ocassionaly seeing green for a second or more?

Does this happens at any other times of the day?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
No, only when waking up.

Thank you for the additional information.

The green you are seeing can be your eyes adjusting to the light. The retina in the back of your eyes have different receptors and can give different sensation of light when "waking" up. It should not last more than a few seconds however.

I'd recommend you have a full dilated retinal exam to ensure there are no problems.
