Ask an Eye Doctor and Get an Answer ASAP
Unfortunately, there is no treatment option for Stargardt's disease at present. Transplantation of eye or retina is not a treatment option for this disease. People with the condition often are advised to wear eyeglasses or sunglasses with ultraviolet protection to reduce the possibility of additional eye damage caused by the sun. Stem cell therapy may be the treatment in future but as of now there is no proven treatment. Thanks and best wishes.
