My left eye was blurry, i thought it was my contacts so i took them off. my left eye was still blurry and now it hurts to blink, so i have my left eye closed under a patch what should i do?

You likely have a sterile or contact related inflamation or infection of the cornea. You need to see an opthalmologist within the next 24 hrs. Could be very serious if you don't see one. Infections of the cornea are very common with contact lenses. For now take out contacts, get some tears, remove eye patch and get to an ER now or schedule an early am appt with an eye physician.
