Have you seen a squint specialist recently? If yes, what's his opinion?
You need to see an ophthalmologist first. If required he will refer you to a squint specialist. You may be developing catarct which can cause double vision or it could be to squint. If squint is the cause then a squint work-up will be done by an orthoptist or squint specialsit. Treatment will then depend upon the type of squint. Other causes of double vision will have to be ruled out first. These include
refractive error exophthalmos displacement or subluxation of the lens thyroid ophthalmopathy diabetes headache cataract head injury eye surgery Rare causes include multiple sclerosis, botulism, myasthenia gravis, sarcoidosis e.t.c.
