Hello,

Have you seen a squint specialist recently? If yes, what's his opinion?

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
no, never heard of that

You need to see an ophthalmologist first. If required he will refer you to a squint specialist. You may be developing catarct which can cause double vision or it could be to squint. If squint is the cause then a squint work-up will be done by an orthoptist or squint specialsit. Treatment will then depend upon the type of squint. Other causes of double vision will have to be ruled out first. These include

refractive error
exophthalmos
displacement or subluxation of the lens
thyroid ophthalmopathy
diabetes
headache
cataract
head injury
eye surgery
Rare causes include multiple sclerosis, botulism, myasthenia gravis, sarcoidosis e.t.c. Thanks and best wishes.
