came from the eye doctor..eye..kleenex but no antibacterial

This answer was rated:

I just came from the eye doctor and they used a little scope type instrument to see inside my eye. The lady wiped it with a kleenex but no antibacterial so my question is can i get a disease from this or worst hiv.

Instruments are often cleaned with 70% isopropyl alcohol. The chance of transmitting disease and viruses even without cleaning it with rubbing alcohol is extremely rare. Greater risk of transmission of disease is through exposure to blood and very unlikely through tears.

I don't think you need to worry.
