Customer Question

loss of periphial vision caused by stroke. WILL VISION RETURN ?

The cause of the stroke and area of the brain affected will determine the type of vision impairment. Stroke can affect:

  • visual acuity
  • visual field (side or peripheral vision)
  • convergence
  • oculomotor difficulties (eye muscle disorders)
  • visual perception (spatial awareness, linking visual and cognitive information)

You will have to go to a neuro-ophthalmologist or a neuro-optometrist who can diagnose your condition and can recommend a vision rehabilitation plan for you. That will make you feel better. Thanks.
