How old are you?

Do you have diabetes or any other disease?

Ho wlong have yu been having these symptoms?

i am 80. i do not have diabetes, unknown only seen after cateract was removed. i am asking for my wife(dorothy)

You are likely to have some macular pathology which is causing these symptoms. This is called metamorphopsia i.e. distorted images. You are very likely to have age related macular degeneration which is quite common in your age. You should see a Retinal surgeon for treatment. Treatment modalities include -

Anti- VEGFs injections

Laser Therapy

PDT etc.

For secondary cataract, you can go for YAG Capsulotomy which is an outdoor procedure.
