If someone has cataracts removal surgery with mono-focal intraocular

This answer was rated:

If someone has cataracts removal surgery with mono-focal intraocular lenses can those lenses later be removed and replaced with multi-focal intraocular lenses such as the AcrySof IQ ReSTOR, ReZoom, Crystalens, Synchrony, etc. ?             Thank you,       XXXXX XXXXX
Yes, it can be done. The lens can be taken out and replaced with a multifocal one though it is a little difficult to take out the lens from the bag in which it has been placed but it can surely be done. Thanks.
