Customer Question

My mother is 72 years old and has high blood pressure and some difficulty breathing. The blood pressure is controlled with medication and the breathing problems, while troublesome, do not require oxygen. She has been advised that she needs cataract surgery but is concerned that her other health problems will be a serious issue. Is this true?

<p>No, she can get her cataract surgery done provided her blood pressure is controlled. Even breathing problems can be taken care care of, however, she will need a fitness certificate for cataract surgery from a physician.
