Hello there

your symptoms almost always are the result of macular swelling as that seen in wet macular degeneration. I would suggest evaluation by your ophthalmologist this week. Regards XXXXX

Is this swelling a temporary situation/

?Can it be rectified.,if so how?

Expert:  Dr. Stevens replied 7 years ago.
That is getting ahead of ourselves, most macular degeneration needs to be treated with medicine injections, or lasers. Regards

what should I do? Next step?
Expert:  Dr. Stevens replied 7 years ago.
You need to call your ophthalmologist and let him know that you have distortion in the eye and need to be seen this week, sooner than later, do not accept a visit later than sometime this week. Regards
