Hello there

there is a distinct type of glaucoma which is called steroid response glaucoma, and this is one where you want to be real careful with symbicort because of the steroid component. Steroid response glaucoma is a glaucoma that worsens with steroids, and if your doctor never mentioned this, then you have the "run of the mill" glaucoma as do 99.9% of the population and symbicort is safe.
