Hello there

By adult CPR, do you mean someone used there palms across the infants chest rather than tips of fingers? What were the eye findings? How is the infant now?

Hello there it is possible to cause retinal hemorrhages with such chest compressions. This would fall along the lines of something called Purtscher's Retinopathy. There are typically bleeds and nerve fiber layer infarcts. I hope this helps, if there are any follow up concerns, let me know, Dr. Stevens
