Prominent blood vessels of the conjunctiva (white portion of eye) can be due to eye allergy or can be prominent naturally (due to thin conjunctiva in some individuals). They cannot be removed. They carry the blood and oxygen to the various parts of the eye. You can try use anti-inflammatory eye drops like zaditor (available OTC). If you are having eye allergy, this will reduce the allergy and make the blood vessels less prominent.
