This is the first ever Eye question! An accept to the first Doctor to answer it. What are some common eye problems that an ophthalmologist generally treats? Pink eye, glaucoma, styes?

Hello there JAJesse

Ophthalmologists treat a variety of different disorders. General Ophthalmologists commonly treat glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, lid disorders (ptosis, blepharitis), red eyes (infectious, dry eye) and vitreous related disorders (floaters, etc). This list makes up about 95% of all the things I see day in and day out. I wish you well, Dr. Stevens
