I bought a chain saw from a local store, 11 weeks ago after 20 mins. it started heating up. I took it back to the store and the man changed a bearing and said it would now work. I took it home tried it again and it was the same again, I took it back to the store and he sent it back to the main dealers, I got it back after 8 weeks and I took it and tried it again and it is still the same, he said that he is sending it back to the main dealers again (I am an expat and Live in Spain) what can I do about this ? what are my rightsThank you, regardsAndrew xxxxemail add. xxxx@xxxx .com
In order to spanish law RDL 1/2007 you have 2 years waranty on it
As long as the product its not working properly demand the money on the store
In they refuse to give it back to you, ask for an official sheet claim
They are forced to provide you with the sheet, if they refuse call tle local police and they will force him to give you the sheet
Once you get the sheet put the denounce in the closer consumer office of the city hall
