Dear Sir or Madam, Could you please advise as to whether an employer is in breach of any law when he hands a letter to the employee informing that her employment agreement which is about to expire in some 4 months will not be renewed, and on the next day calls staff meeting in which he explains that the employment contract od the said employee will not be extended due to some problems in the past. Please not that the letter by which the employee was informed of non extension of the contract contains remark Private & Confidentila (written by the employer).

Please also advise which remedy the affected employee could seek if justified.

This would depend 1) of the nature of said problems; 2) of who was attending the meeting.
If said problems were of professional nature, the private and confidential clause would obviously apply only outside of the company and outside of the circle of employees who were professionally in direct or indirect contact with the employee whose contract is not renewed. These need be informed of the reasons for which a contract is not renewed.
