In 2010 I exchanged my car in spain to date the garage as not changed the car I traded in from my name. What can I do
I am still paying the SUMA.
Can I claim Back the SUMA I have paid and any legal costs I incur
You sell it out and they have no changed the name in DGT?
If it is what has happened you could write the DGT in your province and explain the facts
You must tell them the data of the buyer and wait for his answer
If you got a contract or something add a copy to your writting
If you want to demand the taxes paid you must contract an attorney and demand them in court
I will be here if needd
Have a good day
DGT its trafiic office in spain
Your answer is of no use at all nor would I class it as legal advise.
If you want to know what the law says I can tell
I understand I would only pay if the advise was of any use. It does not I asked explain the law.
The law forces you to change the name before to give the car away or to notify to DGT the change
Please refund my money or I will take it up with Pay Pay
