Customer Question

Hi i want to ask which is the legal definition of gambling? When a sportbook site doen't accept money from users but give rewards (money) is a gambling site? thanks!!!

Already Tried:
I m thinking of program an online betting website. The site will not accept money from users will give them money to bet and if they loose will give them again. If user wins bets and reach an amount of 500 euro will ask for payment and i ll fund their bank account with real money. I know that betting is prohibited in many EU countries so i want to ask if a site like this will be illegal in countries where online betting is prohibited. Thanks for your time!

Hi Sir,

I am an spanish attorney

The answer you are looking for, its not gambling, they change money for movable property, (tabs) so you are not managing money, they are managing tabs, movable propiety

As long as you can change money for tabs its not gambling

Its the most usefull legal way to it where gambling its forbidden

i want to give money since that will be a good reason for people to come in my site. My question is even if a site doesn't accept money from user but has gambling content (accept bets from users with money that the site gives to them) that site is a gambling site so forbidden in some EU countries?

Well, its the same case. There, where you can no give free money you can give free tabs which only could be use at your web site....

They are no managing money, they are managing tabs.

yes but when a user win 100 tabs and wants to take his prize (money) i ll just make tabs money and it is legal?

They used to transfer the client into another site where he can change the mobile propiety for another goods or money

The point its to have several sites and locate them in places where the European law could not catch them Rusia or wathever

so if i have only one site and want to have euro instead of tabs and my site is a .com site (not .gr or .fr or.es etc) when a user coming from a country which online betting is prohibited i have to say him to leave the site?

And my first question was if it is gambling when you bet in a site where you don't deposit any money? is it illegal?

As long as you manage money there in a country where gambling is forbidden it is clearly ilegal
