When a guest receives two invitaions to different events one a wedding ,one a one a 30th wedding anniversary.
Both are for friends or aquintences not close relatives.
Which invitation is it proper to accept.
It it proper to try to attend both, partially
attending both ?

Whenever, you try to attend two formal events on the same evening; it never really works out. It ends up being more insulting to leave a formal setting than not to show at all. Since you stated neither events are for family members, I would choose the wedding because it is a once in a lifetime event.
