Hi. What should an executor do if a beneficiary has broken off contact with the entire family?

The executor still needs to send communications to the beneficiary at the last known address of the beneficiary. The executor also must inform the court and any share belonging to that beneficiary would generally be ordered to be held in a trust for that beneficiary or his/her heirs to collect. You need to let the court know though and need to make reasonable efforts to communicate to the beneficiary.
