Customer Question

My brother is severely delinquent on child support ( dating back 30 years). He collects Social Security), of which she gets half. My mother is aging (84), and as executrix, I am trying to prepare. Sister-in-law states that she can and will, garnish his inheritance. Is this legal in Texas?
JA: What documents or supporting evidence do you have?
Customer: of what? I do not understand-
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you? What confuses you?
Customer: what documents are you referring to? I have the will, I know of brother's delinquency and his willful disregard for his kids. However, my brother lives with my Mom, and when she dies, I need to make sure he has funds for a place to live.
