If I am named in a will for several million dollars, is their any way to sell my share while the person who wrote it is still living?

Until the person dies, the provision in the will has no value since it could be changed. That said, you can assign your rights under the will and if someone is willing to pay for that, that buyer is taking the risk that you may get more/less/nothing when the person dies.
