Customer Question

I have a living trust. We are about to close on the sale of my home and need a few documents from the living trust binder. I gave it to a family friend who is also a lawyer a few months ago so she could look it over and help me to understand it a bit better. She isn't locating it now. I also can't seem to find a phone number for the lawyer who drafter it for me. How do I go about getting the documents I need?

You are asking about documents that were already signed and now cannot be found?

We are suppose to sign papers and hand the house over by June 30th.

The lawyer should locate the documents. If lawyer cannot find them would need to sign again. The lawyer who lost them should handle that given the error.
